The basic mediation training is a 34-hour training and covers all dimensions of mediation work. It is designed for people who are committed to solving conflict throughout their workplaces, organizations, and community. The training includes energizing activities to learn and practice conflict resolution tools, including conflict theory, mediation stages, empathic listening, facilitating negotiations, cross-cultural conflict management and more! This training meets the Basic Mediation Curriculum Standard as established by the Administrative Rules for Community Dispute Resolution programs.

By the end of the training you will be able to

  • Define mediation & describe its core attributes

  • Apply key listening skills to a mediation process

  • Identify and practice stages of a mediation process

Fees: The individual rate for this workshop is $1000; the corporate rate is $1350.
