Peer Mediation Training Every adult knows children listen to children... teens listen to other teens. Resolutions Northwest's belief in the capacity of youths to help each other handle conflict in a positive and non-violent manner is the foundation of services provided to schools to begin and maintain peer mediation programs. Services include: training of students and faculty, program implementation, faculty presentations, and ongoing support. Services are provided for a fee to schools requesting services. “I love peer meditation. There are two kids [at my school] who have problems with one another, and I can completely see why they have problems with one another because I know them so well. I am really glad that a) someone else is going to do the mediation because I feel like I know them too well and b) because I am having a male student who I know they will both respect do it, and it doesn't put me in an awkward position.” Elizabeth Henderson, high school counselor at
